The Global Seeps Database slick locations are not only of value to the exploration companies but are also used by seismic companies in the planning phase before shooting seismic as well as an integrated dataset with interpreted seismic. Infoterra has partnership agreements with various seismic organisations to allow use of the seeps data for planning and marketing of their own data packages.
