Integrated Risk Management Planning

The Risk Intelligence Database (RID) provides the ability to capture data following the process of inspecting a premise and allows the subsequent generation of a First Response Plan or Tactical Information Plan specific to an identified risk premise.

The identified risk premise or Point of Interest (POI) will typically record information regarding:

The risks and hazards to firefighters who may be required to attend an incident at that location

Determining the overall risk at the premises/POI and calculating a risk score which can be banded into high/medium and low levels of risk

Data entered into the RID is held in a structured and consistent manner and typically represents a premise of interest to the emergency service i.e. a risk premise. RID provides a facility for the user to define, via a template, how the captured data should be formatted for user display within the mobile data environment. Should the emergency service need to modify the format for the user display, they need only modify the single template and not each of the individual risk premise records.
