In addition OASIS acts as a hub to communicate information related to an incident to customer services, overflow call centres, operational staff and contractors, and to the press and senior management.

No special training is required. The information available includes the latest status of the problem, the location of alternative water supplies, advice and replies to frequently asked questions.
