K2™ Real-time Visualisation
Imagine a real world, real-time view of what is happening on the ground in your organisation using data in your existing systems. K2 combines concepts in information visualisation, event management, knowledge management and web and mobile technology to give managers and staff a shared view of their organisation, giving people a shared understanding of the challenges they face.
K2 draws information on events as they are recorded in your existing systems. For example contacts, jobs, property vacations, telemetry alarms, interruptions to supply, vehicle locations. They are presented in an active map layer, which is overlaid on your existing GIS data to present a dynamic view of events in the context of your area and your assets. This view can be deployed in a browser, incorporated in applications or presented on a wall display to give everyone a shared view of your business.
Worksing alongside existing systems it provides additional value without the need for expensive application integration. For example, if a customer contact is being logged, K2 will automatically retrieve a map centred on the problem address showing other contacts, incidents or ongoing jobs in the area without the need to change the existing workflow or user interface.
The K2 map is always just one click away, reflects the current business context, and shows the relationship between customers and assets.
