HGS PESGB Africa

This annual conference has become established as the primary technical E & P conference on Africa. Scheduled for 8-9th September 2010 in Houston, a two day programme of talks is planned along with technical posters and exhibits from sponsoring companies. The opening reception will be on Tuesday evening, 7th September.

The conference series, organised by members of the International Group of Houston Geological Society (HGS) and Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) covers all aspects of African E & P, with particular emphasis on new ideas for plays and prospects, the geology of the continent and its conjugate margins, and application of emerging technologies.
