Case Study: E.ON Central Networks

Infoterra were awarded a contract from E.ON Central Networks to map their overhead 11kV power line network throughout Leicestershire  

Our production team used high-resolution GeoPerspectives™ stereo imagery to locate the precise power line pole locations, pole heights, span lengths and the exact network length.

The pole location, height and spans were supplied to E.ON Central Networks in a vector format to enable E.ON Central Network’s to undertake an initial assessment of risks which could adversely impact power line operation and improve power line pole renewal/maintenance projects.
