Angola

Sonangol E.P has announced that 7 offshore blocks will be released offshore Angola - KON 11 & 12. This includes; block 9 in shallow water, blocks 19, 20 and 21 in the deepwater of Kwanza Basin, and newly designated blocks 46, 47 and 48 in the ultra-deepwater of Lower Congo Basin.

Bangladesh

Petrobangla has recently announced the 2008 offshore oil and gas exploration licensing round offering 8 shallow water blocks and 20 deep sea blocks offshore Bangladesh.

Barbados

Barbados' Energy and Environment Ministry recently announced the country's offshore oil and gas exploration bidding round for 26 blocks covering 70,191 sq km offshore Barbados.

Mozambique

The Institute National Petroleum (INP) of Mozambique recently announced the closure of the third Mozambique license round. The INP have made available approximately 60,000 sq km of acreage for the licensing round including; 2 offshore areas with water depths broadly defined as less than 600m, and 5 offshore deep water areas, depths in excess of 6000m.
