Data Specification
Global Seeps data comprises a series of deliverables for every study area.
The deliverables comprise the following digital data and interpretation on DVD - as an integrated ESRI ArcGIS project/geo-database and raster datasets.
- SAR Scene description interpretation results - scene outlines, metocean interpretation details - in ArcGIS format, geographic lat/long projection
- Slick interpretation results - slick source points, slick vectors, probable slick type and confidence levels - all time and date stamped and in ArcGIS format, geographic lat/long projection.
- Slick points and outlines are presented in separate layers with full geo-database attributes.
- Ship and rig/platform locations, interpreted from SAR data, are presented in a separate layer - time and date stamped. Global Seeps is the only product which contains this vital data for accurate attribution of individual slicks
- Unique identification number for each satellite scene and slick feature
- Digital geo-coded calibrated data for full scene at 100m resolution
- Slick subset images at 25m resolution
- Exclusive Seep Browser ArcGIS toolbar allows rapid browsing, selection and viewing of the geo-referenced images together with customer’s geological interpretation and petroleum systems modelling layers
- Compatiblity with all various database software, e.g. MapInfo, Microsoft Access and Oracle
- Data available in formats compatible with PETREL and Kingdom Suite, which allows easy incorporation of slick interpretation data onto 2D seismic data or 3D seismic volume
In addition we offer a full suite of additional options including; summary maps showing seep locations, individual hardcopy scene maps, coastal/hinterland imagery and geological interpretation extended from onshore to offshore.
