The ability to confidentially task satellite image collection on demand
To assure collection over target areas, Infoterra can broker preferential access direct to particular satellite surveillance systems. This includes virtual ground terminals to SAR and optical satellite sensors, providing high resolution, weather independent access to third party satellite all on a confidential basis brokered by Infoterra.
Infoterra is currently the de facto supplier of commercial imagery worldwide for several defence organisations.
We are able to offer preferential access to current and future satellite missions as well as ground station infrastructure for SPOT5, Pleiades, KOMPSAT and ROCSAT.
Infoterra holds the exclusive commercial rights for TerraSAR-X, the world’s first commercial 1 metre resolution SAR satellite. Our access to TerraSAR-X will provide guaranteed global coverage at any latitude with a guaranteed acquisition rating. With a Direct Access Service (DAS), users can upgrade existing ground stations to deliver 1m SAR directly in country.
As our level of service increases this will include turnkey ground and SAR space segment via our EADS Astrium parent for complete national autonomy and tasking via AstroSAR.
